At approximately 9:30am, an overflow of
the tanks on the hill overlooking the mill facility was reported by the pond operations group.
(a) After discovering the issue, the pond operators immediately radioed to have the pumps at
the East Branch Pumphouse turned off. With the pumps turned off, the release stopped
immediately.
(b) Mill process water flow did not adversely impact human health, property or the
environment. All water associated with this event remained on Henderson property and
channeled into stormwater structures which divert water into the process water facilities.
Water lost from this area has no potential to affect off -property lands or waters of the
United States.
(c) The contact person for this event is:
Tim Haynes
19302 County Road 3,
Parshall, CO 80468
Phone: 720-942-3518
timothy haynes(a)fmi.com
(d) No monitoring or analyses were performed for this situation since process water and/or
material was not released off-site and did not impact waters of the United States.
(e) The investigation for this event is complete.
