The Corley Company <br />2605 Constellation Drive <br />Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906 <br />September 16, 2015 <br />Mr. Rob Zuber <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety <br />Denver, Colorado <br />Dear Rob: <br />The Corley Company hereby objects to the Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. application for final bond <br />release. There are many necessary tasks and problems that have not been completed or <br />corrected. I have recently written about the hazardous truck tunnel that had the oil leak this <br />summer and the long side tunnel for the raw coal recovery conveyor and about the various <br />directives concerning the Monarch Fan area debris, the Magpie Diversion spring culvert, and <br />the large rill west of the truck tunnel. <br />There are two other concerns that I have written about in past years. There is still considerable <br />demolition debris in the portal area. I was at the portal area yesterday and picked up as much <br />scrap steel from a small area on the Magpie Diversion bank as I could carry back to my truck on <br />the County Road. There is much more scrap steel and debris including broken PVC pipe and <br />poly tubing. <br />A greater concern is the weeds. Adequate knapweed control has been mentioned multiple <br />times in DRMS inspection reports, but the Verbasum thapsus invasion has worsened. It is in <br />
