The <br />skies were clear turning to cloudy with rain at the end of the inspection. The temperature reached the mid 50°F's. <br />There had been recent rain and the day before it rained for two hours. Mike McFarland accompanied me <br />throughout the field inspections of the King I and II surface facilities. GCC is currently mining two sections of the <br />mine; the 4L and 2W submains. <br />We began at King 1, then went to King 2 and lastly, performed a records check. The focus of this inspection was <br />to verify the as built drawing, specifically Map 007A, related to TR25. <br />The County road had maintenance crews working. Haul trucks on the paved section of the County road were <br />travelling at '/2 the speed limit. The unpaved section of the road appeared recently wetted. Haul traffic traveled at <br />5mi/hr below the posted speed limit. <br />PERMITTING UPDATE: <br />Permitting <br />TR20: Currently under review by DRMS. <br />TR24: Currently in adequacy process awaiting response from GCC. <br />TR25: Currently in adequacy process awaiting response from GCC. <br />PAST INSPECTIONS: <br />Outstanding Issues: <br />As per HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05 <br />o Clean out of sediment at culvert C5 behind weigh station. This should be dug out by the next <br />inspection.
