September 22, 2015 C-1996-083/Bowie No. 2 Mine JDM
Terror Creek Shaft
As noted in the October 2014, March 2015 and May 2015 coal complete inspections, ditch D -B37 is designed to
flow south along the conveyor line between culverts C -B26 and C -B13. Culvert C -B13 then conveys the D -B37
flow to B -Gulch. Due to down -cutting of D -B37 the operator cut a new ditch to carry flow from D -B37 to B -
Gulch on the west side of the conveyor, rather than realigning D -B37 to C -B13. BRL submitted TR -102 to revise
designs consistent with the current on -the -ground configuration. TR -102 has been approved and no issues were
noted with the on the ground configuration of this area. This item has been adequately addressed.
PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11
Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement.-
Gob
lacement:
Gob Pile #I
Gob Pile #I has been inactive.
