All applications consisted of <br />mainly spot spraying the targeted weeds. The areas which were spot sprayed are shown on <br />Figure 1. <br />July 31, 2015 Application <br />On July 31, 2015, Weed Wranglers sprayed for musk thistle, Canada thistle, poison hemlock, <br />redstem filaree, common mullein, houndstongue and Dalmatian toadflax along with other <br />noxious weeds as detailed on the enclosed Herbicide Application Record. They sprayed with <br />Escort XP at a rate of 1.25 ounces (oz.) per 35 gallons of water (5.4 oz of herbicide applied) <br />with marking dye and surfactant added at a rate of 32 oz. per 100 gallons of water (48 oz. of <br />each applied). They sprayed Vista XRT at a rate of 10 oz per 35 gallons of water (3.3 oz of <br />herbicide applied) with marking dye and surfactant added at a rate of 32 oz per 100 gallons of <br />water (48 oz. of each applied). Surfactant was mixed with the herbicide mixture to promote <br />spreading and adhering of the herbicide mixture to the plant surface. The treated area (4.32 <br />acres) required that approximately 151 gallons of combined herbicide mixture be used. <br />August 6, 2015 Application <br />On August 6, 2015, Weed Wranglers sprayed for common mullein, diffuse knapweed, musk <br />thistle and Canada thistle along with other noxious weeds as detailed on the enclosed Herbicide <br />Schwartzwalder Mine Weed Management Update Page 3 <br />September 28, 2015 <br />
