This reporting covers weed control activities conducted at the <br />Schwartzwalder Mine between September 28, 2014 and September 28, 2015 (see Figure 1). <br />Weed control was completed in two applications (mainly spot spraying) during the growing <br />season 2014/2015 in all areas adjacent to the entry road into the mine site. Weed control was <br />applied on both sides of the road, around the mine pad area, settling ponds and between the <br />north and south waste rock piles. Weed control was also completed on a certain percentage of <br />both the north and south waste rock piles. Treatment continued along both sides of the road to <br />the crossing of Ralston Creek and up to the upper cut-off wall including Phase I mitigation areas <br />(see Figure 1). The targeted noxious weed species are listed in Table 1 along with their <br />classification on the Colorado Department of Agriculture noxious weed list. <br />Schwartzwalder Mine Weed Management Update Page 1 <br />September 28, 2015 <br />
