's SCHULTZ My Commisson Expires 1110112015 NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revi- sion Application No. 19 (TR -19) for the Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine (Permit No. C-1984-065), submitted by C.B. Minerals Company, LLC. This application, Technical Revision 19 (TR 19) for Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine provides a sediment con- trol plan for reclaimed areas associated with the reclamation of Sediment Pond A. Per the terms of the associated discharge permit (C00048972) a site specific Sediment Control Plan must be submitted to DRMS that is designed to prevent an increase in the average annual sediment yield from pre mine undisturbed conditions. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine is a/an underground coal mine located in Garfield County, approxi- mately 7 miles W of Glenwood Springs, Colo- rado. Coal interest is private, and the surface affected is private land. The permit area encom- passes approximately 2,484.30 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all re- quirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated there- under. Copies of the proposed decision, including stip- ulations, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. Per- sons with an interest that may be adversely af- fected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclama- tion Board on the proposed decision. Such re- quest must be made within ten (10) days of the initial publication of this notice, must be in writ- ing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision.
