0 2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />(1) Surface mining activities (open pit or strip mining) are not planned within the <br />permit area. <br />(2) The construction of the surface facilities occurred in 1976 and 1977. Mining <br />has occurred sporadically since that time. Approximately 1500 acres will be <br />affected during the life of the mine plan. <br />(3) The Applicant will conduct underground mining activities in excess of 5 <br />years.
