This permit revision proposes to increase the permit area by 774.39 acres and updates the permit application package for the 2012 to 2017 permit term. Projected activities in- clude disturbing 65 acres within the currently approved permit area. No disturbance is proposed within the expansion area. The Trapper Mine is a/an surface operation located in Moffat County, approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. Coal in- terest is federal, state and private, and the surface to be affected is state and private land. The permit area encompasses approx- imately 10,382.30acres. This proposed deasion is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, et sec, CR.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed decision, including any stipulations, are on file for public inspec- tion at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Col- orado 80203 and Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625 Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the pro- posed decision.
