Stover Et Associates, Inc. <br />2352 North 71 Street, Unit B <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />RE: North Thompson Creek Mines, Permit No. C-1981-025 <br />2014 Annual Reclamation Report <br />Dear Mr. Stover, <br />The Division received a copy of the 2014 Annual Reclamation Report on January 16, 2015 for the North <br />Thompson Creek Mines. Thank you for your timely submittal. The report indates that there were no <br />reclamation activities for the year 2014. There are 4.1 acres that have not been Phase III bond released. <br />These 4.1 acres are in long-term mining or reclamation facilities. <br />During inspections throughout 2014 plumeless thistle and houndstoungue were found at the site. <br />Plumeless thistle was located on the Refuse Pond embankment, and the Mine No. 1 Portal. Houndstounge <br />was located on the north side of the bridge and on the eastern berm of the Long Pond. Information on <br />weed control was not included in the 2014 Report. Please submit information on the following; (1) if the <br />Operator sprayed for weeds in 2014, (2) if weed control occurred, what was used? <br />The 2014 Annual Reclamation Report is in compliance with the Rules and the approved permit <br />application. Based on the information above, the Division has no questions or further comments.
