EXHIBIT S
(Permanent Man-made Structures)
The permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the affected area are shown on
Exhibits A-2, B, and C-2, and they are specifically listed as "Improvements" on page 4 of
the Mining Plan (Exhibit D of this Reclamation Permit Application). None of these
structures will be adversely affected by Moffat County's development and operation of
the Amended Smith Pit No. 20.
It should be noted that Moffat County has a Reclamation Permit to mine in Lot 11,
Section 18, T12N, R93 W of the 6th P.M. (see Exhibit C-2 and C-4); and that there is a 4 -
wheel Drive Trail running the length of Lot 11. The BLM has designated a large block of
land in that vicinity as "Restricted Travel Area", which means that this two track road is
no longer a legal access route; therefore, it may not have a "defined, current and
recognizable value of an economic nature! Moffat County will not preserve this trail
during the mining phase, or replace it during reclamation — unless the BLM (Little Snake
Field Office) requests us to do so (see Mining Plan — Exhibit D — page No. 5).
EXHIBIT S
(Permanent Man-made Structures)
