The bond release application was found complete by this Division on September 11, 2015. All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from this date of filing. SL -16 bond release application is applying for Phase I release on 107.8 acres of the Morgan property that have been regraded, topsoiled and seeded. The surface ownership is private, and the coal mined was private. The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of Nucla, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: 1.7 miles northwest of the Town of Nucla The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Nucla.
