The <br />bond release application was found complete by this Division on September 11, 2015. All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining <br />initiate from this date of filing. <br />SL -16 bond release application is applying for Phase I release on 107.8 acres of the Morgan <br />property that have been regraded, topsoiled and seeded. The surface ownership is private, and <br />the coal mined was private. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of <br />Nucla, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />1.7 miles northwest of the Town of Nucla <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Nucla. <br />For additional information, to provide written comments, or to file an objection and request an <br />informal conference, contact the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, <br />1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
