<br />The DiviSio„ of reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) is in the p-oee55 of ,eviewing the above
<br />referenced application in o -de, to r-nau,e that it adequately satisfies the requirements of the Colorado
<br />Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Mate,iala kAct) and the associated Mineral
<br />Rules and Regulation, of the Colo, ado Mined Land Reclamation Board for the Extraction of Conat,uction
<br />Materials (Rules). During review of the mate, al Subn,;tted, the Division determined that the following
<br />i55ue(5) of concern shall be adequately addressed before the application can be con5ide,ed for approval.
<br />1. Provide funhe, detail ,ega►ding the proposed drill holes. State whether the holes Will be d,illed
<br />with auger or core bit, and state the hole dia,ner,5 and approximate depths.
<br />2. toescribe the drill rig to be used. State whether it will be tack -nou„ted o, rubber tired.
<br />3. Star Whmheff u, not any ,oads will be constructed to access the drill sites.
<br />4. Provide further detail regard;, -r, the d, ill Sites. State the approximate size of the disturbed area for
<br />each drill site. State whether there will be mud pits or othe, di5tu,ba-,ces that will need to be
<br />backfilled o, ,evegrtatcd.
<br />5. State whether the drill holes will be backfilled with material removed from the holes. If this is not
<br />anticipated, describe material to be used to backfill the holes i-- aeco,dance with rule 5.4.2 (3).
<br />6. State the at,p,UAi,nate a,,,ou„t of material to be excavated for bulk testing at drill sites 3; 4; 5, and
<br />b.
<br />7. State the locations of the sand piles and the approximate amou„t of ,nate, ial to be excavated from
<br />them.
