A small <br />cordless battvay puwetcd drill will be used to drill cap ruck HL d laigG boulders for <br />blasting upetatiuns. brill batteries are sealed lithiuiu tun Hud will be brought to site <br />unly during scheduled blasting opvratiuns. A sniall purtable solar panel array, will be <br />used for charging batteries and maintahung emergency communieatiuns (uvll <br />phones); no other puwcr suurue is required. <br />8.0 Blabt�ug schedule/nutittcation- The mine Operatur shall uutify the USI,'S Salida <br />District uttice 5 days in advance uf all Blasting upuratiuns. <br />9.0 Blasting requirements/piocedums- Use ot'explosives is conducted in compliance with <br />all applicable state and federal laws. Access to the blasinig area is regulated at all times <br />when loading and blasting operations are in progress and until the shot area is iltspected <br />and cleared aite, detonation. Blasting areas are clearly marked by sign's reading "tslasting <br />Area". Signs are posted at the entrance to the active mine area. They lead: <br />wARN1NU!
