<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />C.B. Minerals Company, LLC., 2352 N. 7th Street,
<br />Unit B, Grand Junction, CO 81501, has submitted
<br />an application for a Technical Revision to the Colo-
<br />rado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
<br />(DBMS), for its Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining
<br />permit No. C-1984-065. The proposed revision
<br />demonstrates that a six and one half acre area that
<br />will be disturbed during the reclamation of Sedi-
<br />ment Pond A will not increase the sediment loss in
<br />comparison to pre -mining, adjacent conditions.
<br />The mine is located approximately 3 miles east of
<br />New Castle, south of the Colorado River in the
<br />Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The
<br />Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit area is located on
<br />the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm King
<br />Mountain and New Castle Quadrangle maps. The
<br />mine permit area is located in portions of the fol-
<br />lowing described lands:

<br />right-of-way of County Road 335, Lots 3 and 4, SY ,

<br />the date of this publication in order to be consid-
