The mining operation has ceased and United Companies has completed the required land <br />reclamation. <br />Mesa Grand would like to terminate the lease with United and requests that the State of Colorado <br />release all parties from further reclamation works and obligations if all the requirements of the State of <br />Colorado have been met. <br />Once the State of Colorado has determined that all reclamation works have met the conditions set forth <br />by the State and the lease with United Companies has been terminated, Mesa Grand, LLC. intends to <br />donate the lake created by the gravel mining operation on its land to the City of Fruita, along with <br />approximately one half mile of land along the Kokopeli Trail. The City of Fruita has stated that it cannot <br />accept the donation until the State of Colorado determines that the reclamation has been completed to <br />its satisfaction. <br />If I may supply you with additional information please let me know.
