Musick <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and SafetG <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RECEIVED <br />AUG 21 2015 <br />Division of Rec,13M960i <br />Mining & SAW <br />Re: Bowie No. 2 Mine (Permit No. C-1996-083), Technical Revision No. 104 (TR -104), Stability of Drill Sites <br />(HC #67452) <br />Dear Mr. Musick: <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated August 11, 2015 (received by our office on August 14, 2015) <br />regarding the above referenced technical revision. <br />As the proposed undertaking does not appear to have the potential to effect historic properties, if any such are <br />present, it is our opinion that a finding of no historic properties affected is appropriate pursuant to 36 CFR <br />800.4(d) (1). <br />The consultation process does involve other consulting parties such local governments and Tribes which as <br />stipulated in 36 CFR 800.3 are required to be notified of the undertaking. Additional information provided by <br />these or other consulting parties may cause our office to re-evaluate our comments and recommendations. <br />Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic Places eligibility <br />criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
