<br />The Foothills Native mix is made up with grasses that are adapted to medium textured soils, as well as, some of the
<br />shallower soils found in the transitional area between the grasslands of the plains and the forest of the mountains along
<br />the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. The Foothills Mix is used for conservation, restoration, cover, forage, wildlife,
<br />and for homeowner lots in the foothills area. Elevation ranges from 5,000 to 7,000 feet and the average annual
<br />precipitation is 8 to 20 inches.
