The stockpile should <br />be on a 3:1 side slope and protected from any wind or water erosion. <br />• During the mining operations, the soil should be excavated on a 3:1 <br />side slope and all stockpiled soil that is mined and not loaded should <br />be protected with best management practices so it doesn't blow or <br />wash away during construction. <br />
