Over the life of the Southfield and previous Dorchester operations, the mine has
maintained a record of effective compliance with applicable provisions of
existing air quality permits. To date, there have been no violations of applicable
air quality standards, and ongoing permit compliance under State air emission
permits meets the specific requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act and
Colorado Air Pollution Control Act.
