Thence N 86°05'22" E, a distance of 144.25 feet to the point of beginning, containing 63.50 acres more
or less.
Proposed Decision
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve an application for a
permit revision (PR -1). The revision application was submitted to the Division on October 3, 2014, and
deemed administratively complete on October 9, 2014. The application was submitted by Savage &
Savage, Inc., representing the mine, to revise the postmine land use from Industrial/Commercial,
Recreational, and Residential to Dryland Pasture.
This decision is based on a finding that the operations will comply with all requirements of the Colorado
State Program as found in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101 et
seq., C.R.S. and the Regulations promulgated pursuant to the Act. If no request for a formal hearing is
made within thirty (30) days of the first publication of the issuance of this proposed decision, then this
decision becomes final. The permit application and all supporting documentation will become a binding
part of the permit. All previous stipulations and conditions have been terminated or complied with and
there are no new stipulations added with Permit Revision No. 1
