will be reclaimed if the operation is fully mined according to the plan described in this amended permit.
This is shown on Map C-1 — Pre -Mine Map. The map shows that the total pre -law disturbed areas total
97.4 acres. The total minimum area of reclamation commitment in all cases is 48.0 acres. The total
reclaimed area if the mining plan is fully carried out is 138.1 acres. This case allows for the reclamation
of all pre -law highwalls, pre -law gravel piles and other pre -law disturbances. The work to reclaim the
pre -law disturbances would occur gradually as mining continues, allowing the allocation of a portion of
the proceeds to be used for the reclamation.
The mill building to be constructed in 2012 will remain after reclamation as a horse barn for the
residences that are planned in the post -mine land use. The building will be 170 feet x 80 feet long and
will have stamped steel panel walls and a steel roof. It is ideal for this use and will improve the value of
the residential land use when the site is reclaimed. Figure E-1 on the following page shows these items
in more detail.
The west portion of the office/shop/warehouse will be dismantled and removed but the eastern portion
will remain as hay storage and tack area for the horse barn. Figure E-2 on the following page shows these
items in more detail.
Alma Place Mine 01/15 41
