A summary of the CEC acreages disturbed, those already reclaimed, and acreage remaining to be <br />reclaimed is presented below. This information is current as of the AHR report for 2010, and is <br />updated annually in that report: <br />Disturbed areas (approximate acreages): <br />B -Pit local areas [A -Pit is closed] 32 acres <br />Long-term spoil area 49 acres <br />Topsand piles A-1, A-3, B-1 and B-2' 20 acres <br />Sediment Pond 2 & other non -reclaimed areas 38 acres <br />Total area remaining to be reclaimed 139 acres <br />Facilities Area and Access Road (No reclamation required) 48 acres <br />Total area reclaimed and revegetated 251 acres <br />Grand Total 438 acres <br />Also, the following information provides a summary soil balance of both the overburden soils <br />and topsand volumes: <br />OVERBURDEN SOILS <br />Quantities Required <br />B -Pit (6 foot cover) - [A -Pit closed] 218,868 BCY <br />B -Pit (AJMWR intermediate cover) 92,861 BCY <br />Total 311,729 BCY <br />Stockpiled Quantity <br />Long-term spoil area <br />Total Remaining* <br />340,895 BCY <br />311,729 BCY -from above <br />29,166 BCY -- surplus <br />**Total soil materials remaining will be graded (sloped) and revegetated. <br />I Topsand pile B-2 has been incorporated within pile A-3 for reference and mapping purposes. <br />114a 06/15 <br />
