We understand that under the Keenesburg
Mine's current permit with the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety, this road will need to
be removed and reclaimed once the Mine's operations are complete. We support Coors Energy
Company (CEC) in changing the post -mining land use of this road to Industrial/Commercial so
that it can remain open when their operation is complete.
CEC has also contacted us regarding topsoil stockpiles within the road easement that are on our
property and are currently designated for use in reclaiming the road. We do not object to leaving
these stockpiles in place and to them no longer being designated for reclaiming the road.
Sincerely,
gDo-r-A
Doc Nyiro
Environmental Engineer
cc: Jason Chan, WMC
Bruce Clabaugh, WMC
Jack Epple, WMC
Bill Hedberg, WMC
i
