I
am also the principal of Gusher Oil Field Services, LLC, a construction company, which currently
leases part of the facility's building, equipment yard, and parking area at the Keenseburg Mine.
Gusher uses the private road connecting Country Road 59 to the Keenseburg Mine to access
these facilities. My family understands that under the Keenseburg Mine's current permit with
the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety, these facilities, including the buildings, yards
and access road will need to be removed and reclaimed once the Mine's operations are
complete.
I have approached Coors Energy Company (CEC) to purchase the facility's area when they are
no longer being used for Mine operations. We would like to purchase this land with the
buildings, equipment yard, parking area, sewage system, water storage, portable water system,
and fence intact. To this end, we support CEC in changing the post -mining land use of this are to
Industrial/Commercial.
Sincerely,
Art Guttersen
