Item #3 from the May 19, 2015 adequacy letter was addressed satisfactorily by the Applicant. 6.4.3 Exhibit C - Pre -Mining and Mining Plan Maps of Affected Land 4. Please update Exhibit C to indicate the name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and lines, and power and communication lines on the area of affected land and within two hundred (200) feet of all boundaries of such area. Please update the large Exhibit C map in response to Item #4. The Applicant submitted an older version of the Exhibit C map from TR -01 as part of the adequacy response. It is unclear if the TR -01 map was submitted in response to Item #4. 5. Please update Exhibit C to show the owner's name, type of structures, and location of all significant, valuable, and permanent man-made structures contained on the area of affected land and within two hundred (200) feet of the affected land. Please update the large Exhibit C map in response to Item #5. The Applicant submitted an older version of the Exhibit C map from TR -01 as part of the adequacy response. It is unclear if the TR -01 map was submitted in response to Item #5. The large Exhibit C, D and F maps submitted by the Applicant with the amendment application indicate an oil and gas well island in the southeast corner of the site. Based on conversations with the Applicant, the Applicant is in the process of purchasing and abandoning the oil and gas facilities to allow the area to be mined. The currently approved Mine and Reclamation Plan maps for the site do not indicate the oil and gas island. The Division recommends the Applicant updates the Exhibit C, D and F maps for the amendment application to remove the oil and gas island. Please commit to providing the Division a copy of the oil and gas facility purchase agreement and abandonment report when available. Items #6 through #10 from the May 19, 2015 adequacy letter were addressed satisfactorily by the Applicant. 11. The Applicant states in the event any of the listed species (of noxious weeds) are identified, appropriate action shall be taken to mitigate weed infestation. The Applicant provided a copy of the Colorado Weed Management Association "Weed Watch List" with the adequacy response. Please clarify the Applicant will monitor and mitigate all Colorado Weed Management Association List A, B and C Species weeds, not just the Watch List weeds. The Division recommends the Applicant contact the Weld County Noxious Weed coordinator to assist with a more detailed noxious weed management plan for the site.
