MANAGEMENT
On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) enclosed is an application for a technical revision to incorporate
into the permit a list of drill sites that are stable. A stable drill site does not contribute significant
suspended solids above natural conditions to downstream receiving water and the quality of untreated
drainage from the disturbed area would meet the State and Federal water quality standard
requirements (Rule 4.05.2(2)). Permit application page 2.05-43i outlines a method to determine if a drill
site is stable.
BRL has prepared a list of the drill sites it believes will fall into the stable category. DRMS is to visit those
sites to confirm the BRL's evaluation. BRL will maintain a list in the permit of sites determined to be
stable by DRMS and not requiring sediment control. Stable drill sites as well as those sites that are
subject to phase II bond release are indentified on pages 2.05-45i through 2.05-45x.
Sincerely,
J. E. Stov-PIr
J. E.
