Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />N - Other <br />N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste <br />N - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This partial inspection of Ohio Creek Mine outside Gunnison Colorado was conducted on Wednesday the 15th <br />of July 2015 and took place in conjunction with year nine vegetation sampling. Ground conditions were dry. <br />The day was partly sunny and a cool 72'F with a heavy morning dew. The site was verdant and in bloom. <br />Robin Reilley of the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) conducted the inspection. This is a <br />revoked site; therefore no company/operator was present for the inspection. <br />This partial inspection focused on revegetation progress. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02: <br />Mine identification signs and surface disturbance markers identified during this inspection were installed as <br />required throughout the areas visited on this inspection. The topsoil stockpile observed was stable, well <br />vegetated and marked with an identifying sign. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05: <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures <br />4.05.7; 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments <br />4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The observed sediment pond appeared to be functioning. Vegetation had emerged and no evidence of <br />instability or damage were noted on pond slopes.
