On June 11, 2015, Oxbow Mining, LLC. filed a letter relinquishing the following federal coal
exploration license, COC76319.
On June 25, 2015, the Uncompahgre Field Office staff determined that the acceptance of this
relinquishment will not impair the public interest, and all obligations of the lessee under the
regulations and under the terms of the license have been met. Therefore, pursuant to the
regulations found at 43 C.F.R. 3452, the relinquishment is accepted effective June 11, 2015, the
date of the filing.
The period of liability under the following coal license bond, surety number and the
Bureau of Land Management bond number for $18,000.00 having Oxbow Mining
Oak Mesa, LLC. as principal and Lexon Insurance Company as surety may be terminated as of
the date of the date of the filing, June 11, 2015. A copy of the terminated bond is enclosed. The
original is kept in the case file. The case file is closed effective the date of this decision and our
records noted accordingly.
