Outfall
001A1001WIMONI did not discharge during the period. Sites 300E and 3001 flow each week of
the period.
Note: there was an exceedance for the annual reporting of fecal coliforms. A single count of 100
#f100mL was recorded during the first quarter of 2014. This may be the result a clogged gate
valve that was repaired during the first quarter, resulting in a release of waste water that may not
have received full chlorine treatment. The issue of fecal coliform counts was brought to our
attention by CDPHE after the second quarter of last year. Following this, Twentymile Coal
increased its level and frequency of chlorination. Subsequent counts have been zero. Note that
this effluent is discharged into a leach field on the Twentymile property and not into any local
creeks or waterways. There are no existing potable water wells within the discharge area that
would be impacted by the effluent,
If you have any questions, please contact me directly at (970) 870-2750.
Best Regards,
Brian A.
