(Hard Rock) submits this amendment to the <br />reclamation permit referenced above, changing final land use from Wildlife Habitat to <br />Industrial/Commercial. The proposed land use will coincide with the Chaffee County zone change <br />approved by Resolution 2014-29. The site is mined out and was reclaimed by contouring slopes to <br />3H:1V, reconstructing slopes to 3H:1V where necessary and grading the floor to allow historical <br />surface water drainage. <br />The 291 Pit was permitted in 1977.
