Icy <br />CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. <br />ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec <br />SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster <br />wheeler <br />Cat 740 haul trucks transported SLF from the Phase 1 stockpile to station C16+00 for placement <br />upslope of the ADR Haul Road. Cat dozers cut SLF to grade between stations C12+00 to <br />C16+00 and E6+00 to E12+00. <br />All of the above Soil Liner Fill material was placed, compacted, and graded per the project plans <br />and specifications. Moisture content, density testing and depth verification were performed per <br />project specification prior to surface acceptance and geomembrane installation. <br />See attached figure for approved SLF <br />Drain Cover Fill: <br />Previously finished DCF on the Phase 1 slopes eroded during rain events into the PSSA. DCF <br />was replaced onto approved geomembrane after it was inspected and re -approved. HVSCS <br />piping layouts were reestablished and connected to design plans. <br />Cat 740 haul trucks transported DCF from the stockpile to Phase 1. Low ground pressure Cat <br />dozers placed DCF on approved geomembrane in Phase 1. <br />See attached figure for approved DCF <br />Underdrain System: <br />Primary Underdrain: Complete. <br />Secondary Underdrain: None. <br />Tertiary Underdrain: A Cat excavator constructed approximately 400LF of tertiary <br />underdrain per project plans and specifications upslope of station 14+00 of the ADR haul <br />road. The tertiary underdrain was tied into the existing secondary underdrain. Structural <br />Fill was placed and compacted to final grade per project plans and specifications. <br />Leak Detection: <br />None. <br />Miscellaneous: <br />Amec personnel continued LVSCS pump monitoring and observation. <br />B) Underground Workings: <br />UG #6004: Cat excavators prepared additional drill access. Continued drilling blast pattern for <br />geogrid subgrade. Further remediation required. <br />UG#6455: Continued drilling operations, 9501-F. Further remediation required. <br />UG#6313: Continued drilling operations, 1,200LF. Further remediation required. <br />UG#6688: Began drilling operations, 7001-F. No voids found. Center of suspected shaft drilled, <br />no void. Timbers removed. Site backfilled and compacted per project specifications. <br />Remediated. <br />
