<br />Being first duly sworn according to law, on oath depose and say, that
<br />I am, and at all the times herein mentioned, was the publisher
<br />of the Herald Democrat and that said Herald Democrat is a weekly
<br />newspaper of general circulation, in said County and State, printed and
<br />published in the City of Leadville, County of Lake and State of
<br />Colorado, and that copies of each number thereof are, and at all the
<br />times herein mentioned were, regularly distributed and delivered, by
<br />carrier or mail, to each of the subscribers of said newspaper, in
<br />accordance with the customary method of business in newspaper

<br />Is a true copy of the original, and that the same was regularly
<br />published once each week, and on the same day in each week, and in
<br />the newspaper proper and not in a supplement,
<br />for the full period of ONE (1) INSERTION(S)
<br />and that the first publication thereof was in the issue dated
<br />JUNE 25. 2015
<br />and that the last publication of the same was in the issue dated
<br />at the said Herald Democrat and has been established, printed and
<br />published for the full period of fifty-two consecutive weeks, and
<br />continuously and uninterruptedly prior to the said date of the first
<br />publication of the notice aforesaid, in the City of Leadville, County of
<br />Lake and State of Colorado, and is a newspaper duly qualified for the
<br />publishing of said notice within the meaning of an Act of the General
<br />Assembly of the State of Colorado, approved May 30th, 1923, and
<br />entitled "An act to Amend an Act Entitled 'An Act Concerning Legal
<br />Notices, Advertisements and Publications and the Fees of Printers and
<br />Publishers thereof, and to Repeal all Acts and Parts of Acts in Conflict
<br />with the Provisions of this Act'," and within the meaning of an Act

<br />Union Milling Company, LLC MC), owner of
<br />the Leadville Mill is applying to the Colorado
<br />Department of Mining, Reclamation and Safety
<br />(CDRMS) for a reduction of Performance
<br />and Financial Warranty of its current Mining
<br />and Reclamation Permit (M-1990-057) for the
<br />Hopemore Shaft mine site located about 4 miles
<br />East of Leadville on County Road 1. The gen-
<br />eral description of the area Of this notice is within
<br />Section 20, T9S, R79W, 6th Principal Meridian.
<br />Lockland LLC, the operator of the Hopemore Mine
<br />has received from CDRMS approval of Hard Rock
<br />110(2) Reclamation Permit M-2013-026, and
<br />UMC is requesting that all disturbance associ-
<br />ated with the Hopemore Shah site be incorporated
<br />into this permit. This action will result in neither
<br />an increase or decrease in disturbed lands nor a
<br />change in the net reclamation liabilities of UMC and
<br />Lockland. Post -milling land use at the Leadville
<br />Mill and Hopemore Shaft remain unchanged.
<br />Per Rub 7.2.10(c) of the Hard ROck/Metal Mining
<br />Rules and Regulations, comments concerning the
<br />appropriateness of the requested release should
<br />be sent within thirty (30) days to: Division of
<br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman
<br />St., Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203.
