JL� <br />RECEIVED <br />MASK Ranch, LLC VJUL 10 2015 <br />PO Box 5356 <br />Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 DIVISION OF RECLAMATION <br />MINING AND SAFETY <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />July 9, 2015 <br />RE: Permit Number M-2002-087 , Sf;�-o I <br />Dear Colorado Division of Mines: <br />We would like to request a reduction in the surety bond that was secured for the reclamation of the gravel <br />pit on the MASK Ranch, located on the San Juan River, approximately 2 miles south of Pagosa Springs, <br />Colorado, in Archuleta County. <br />We have performed the tasks that you have asked us to perform, and had an inspection on June 2, 2015, <br />conducted by Lucas West from your Grand Junction office. <br />These are the costs that have been incurred to reclaim the site: <br />Leveling, Grading, Rock Removal $7020.00 <br />Irrigation Pipe Installation $1350.00 <br />Grass Seeding $ 360.00 <br />Weed Spraying $ 600.00 <br />Mowing Weeds $ 240.00 <br />Total $9570.00 <br />We are planning on rebuilding the partial flume as the original one was destroyed while ash from the <br />West Fork fire was being cleaned out of the ditch. <br />We also plan on contacting the Colorado Parks and Wildlife again, concerning the recurring waterfowl <br />damage, to see if they have a potential plan to resolve that issue. <br />We would also like to replant some trees around the pond, and reintroduce some native cutthroat trout <br />into the pond. <br />Please consider our request for this surety bond reduction, and contact me if you have any questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />Roger August, Manager <br />MASK Ranch, LLC <br />970-946-3074 <br />maskranchLa)gmail.com <br />J AF & Report <br />No Violations <br />
