L/_ <br />Meeker, CO 81641 DIVISION OF RECLAMATION <br />,� MININ( ,,AND SAFETY <br />RE: Natural Soda LLC Request for Approval of Telemetry Repeater Antenna Installation <br />Natural Soda LLC (NS) hereby requests approval for the installation of a new telemetry repeater <br />antenna for enhanced monitoring and control of process fluid valves for the existing and planned <br />production wells located in the southern portion of NS' current mining area. Please refer to the <br />attached plan view map and elevation profile for location and elevation information. The following <br />summarizes the telemetry repeater antenna installation specifics: <br />• The repeater antenna will be an addition to NS' current 900 mhz radio monitor and control <br />system. <br />• The repeater antenna will be attached to an existing production water pipeline stanchion. No <br />new disturbance is anticipated. <br />• NS anticipates a repeater antenna height of approximately 25 feet above ground level. <br />• A two inch diameter antenna mast is anticipated. <br />• A 26 by 22 inch solar panel (for battery charging) will be located near the lower portion of the <br />antenna mast <br />• An equipment/battery box with the approximate dimensions of 17 by 16 by 14 inches will also <br />be located near the lower portion of the antenna mast. <br />Should you have any questions or comments, you can reach me at (970) 254-1224 (w), or <br />(970) 216-1010 (c), or Kirk Daehling at (970) 878-3674 x 14. <br />Regards, <br />Gerald J.
