2.04.3 <br />(4) The permit and adjacent areas can be segregated into four different areas <br />concerning land use classification as follows: 1) the rugged mountainous <br />terrain classified as rangeland and /or wildlife habitat; 2) the area along the <br />highway corridor. This area that includes the Terror Creek Loadout, old King <br />Mine, power plant and highway is classified as industrial or commercial; 3) <br />the homes located along old State Highway 133 that are classified residential <br />and 4) the lower orchards and pastures that are classified cropland and <br />pastureland respectively. <br />The permit and adjacent areas are in Delta County. Delta County <br />implemented specific development regulations, effective October 2000. The <br />Delta County planning department does not have land use classifications <br />that would be applicable to this section. Senior Planner Dave Rice (May 25, <br />2010) verbally indicated the land use classifications in the permit and <br />adjacent area would be residential, agricultural, industrial and public lands. <br />• <br />n <br />LJ <br />PR -12 2.04 -7 06/10 <br />fpplavcp <br />U /16/1 o <br />
