The most recent version cited above is from 2013. A new plan that has been updated to included
new facilities on site that have been added as part of MLE-2 is in final draft and will be issued
very shortly. In compliance with the SPCC and the regulations upon which it is based,
discharges are reported and managed internally, the externally reportable quantities of
hydrocarbons is a 1,000 gallons or discharges out of containment that cause a shine on the
receiving waters (waters of the U.S). The discharge to containment which is the issue being
considered in this letter did not infringe on either of these standards.
Please contact me at (719)-689-4048 should you have questions or wish to discuss this request
for a technical revision.
Sincerely,
4'.- --
Chris Hanks
Chief Environmental Coordinator
cc: Jonathan Gorman
Enclosures
