Hydrologic monitoring at this spring began in 1979.
3.2.1.8 Spring G-24 (Decreed Spring #8)
Spring G-24 is located in Sylvester Gulch east of the northeast mine panels area (Map 2).
This spring issues from alluvium and is measured at the outflow of a plastic drainage
pipe. It flows seasonally and flow diminishes in late summer and autumn. Hydrologic
monitoring at this spring began in 1979.
3.2.1.9 Spring G-14 (Decreed Spring #7)
Spring G-14 is located in Sylvester Gulch east of the northeast mine panels area (Map 2).
This spring issues from fractures in the base of a sandstone bed. Flow in this spring diminishes in late summer and autumn.
Hydrologic monitoring at this spring began in 1977.
3.2.1.11 Spring 35-3
Spring 35-3 is located in upper Deep Creek which is tributary to the North Fork (Map 2).
This spring is located east of the SOD mine panels area. The source of this spring
appears to issue from alluvium. This spring has perennial flow, but shows strong
seasonal variations with high flows in the spring months. This spring has been monitored
since 2006.
3.2.1.12 96-2-2 Area Spring
The 96-2-2 Area Spring is located in upper Deep Creek which is tributary to the North
Fork (Map 2).
