Dear Mr. Bergmann,
The Division has identified several other comments and questions that must be addressed prior to the
Division's decision due date. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily address any
concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your responsibility to request
an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately
addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no extension has been requested, the Division
will deny this application.
1. The Reclamation Plan Map does not depict the proposed permit boundary. Please revise the
Reclamation Plan Map to include a labeled permit boundary.
2. The cost estimate for grading the waste rock pile appears to be based on 500 tons of material. The
financial warranty estimate for the existing Notice of Intent (P-2012-016) accounted for 500 tons of
material to be graded. The applicant has revised the amount of material to be removed from the
underground workings from 500 tons to 24,000 tons of material. Therefore, the financial warranty
calculation must be revised to account for the increase in material which will need to be graded.
Please specify how many cubic yards of material will need to be graded during reclamation.
As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies prior to
the decision date (June 30, 2015), it will be your responsibility to request an extension of time to
allow for continued review of this application. If there are still unresolved issues when the decision
date arrives and no extension has been requested, the application will be denied.
