Therefore, <br />exposure of ground water must not occur during or after mining operations. <br />® The applicant has not identified any proposed use of water at the permit site. If water will <br />be used for any purpose at this site, the applicant wilt need to document that the water was <br />obtained from a legal source, or the use of the water was decreed by the Water Court for <br />such industrial use. <br />COMMENTS: The application seeks an amendment to increase the existing DRMS permit size from <br />82.96 acres to 105.02 acres. The amended permit boundary wilt encompass 105.02 acres. <br />If stormwater runoff is intercepted by this mining operation and is not diverted or captured in <br />priority, it must be released to the stream system within 72 hours, which may require a discharge <br />permit from CDPHE-WQCD.
