The total disturbance at the mine is now 134.27 acres ±. Mining has continued on the <br />working face that stretches from north to south on the eastern part of the quarry. <br />Mining continues on areas previously disturbed by lowering the mine floor. Stripping began on a small area north of the plant site to ready that area for mining. <br />This increased the mining area by 3.70 acres. <br />9/10. As approved in the mining plan only the mine benches need recoiling and <br />revegetation. The upper 6 benches on the northern part of the face have been re -soiled <br />and seeded. This area covering 7.38 acres and is beginning its seventh growing season <br />(green). The southern 7.83 acres reclaimed prior to 2000 are being monitored. All <br />revegetation is doing well on the benches. Ten new benches on the north & south portions <br />of the face covering 24.44 acres are partially reclaimed (light green). Stage Z is <br />permitted in the county for commercial uses. Clear Creek County approved removal of <br />this stage from the Official Development Plan and we will request its release from the <br />permit. <br />12. We will continue to replace growth medium on benches created this year and seed <br />them as needed. No other reclamation is required at this time. <br />18. Current Bond Amount $741,500.00. Mine was inspected on 11/28/11 and the bond <br />was not increased. <br />
