Also enclosed is a check for $500.00 in al arti a p payment of the appli- cation fee. The remainder of the application fee will be paid in equal increments over the next four years. The Rockcastle Company is presently i operating under Permit 78-50 issued by The Mined Land Reclamation Board in May of 1978. we will place a notice in the local papers when so di- rected by your agency. The Rockcastle Company is conducting an environmentally acceptable opera- tion and will continue to conform to applicable environmental standards. In order to document baseline conditions per requirements of the 1980 regulations, studies on each ecological component were prepared by recog- nized authorities and their reports are included as part of this applica- tion. The application has been divided into six major sections for ease in reading and reviewing. The outline contained in the applicaiton form was used as the basis for organizing the text. Considerable effort was devoted to addressing each applicable regulation.
