Box 1488 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-1996-083 <br />Technical Revision No. 102 (TR -102) <br />Preliminary Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear, <br />The Division received Bowie Resources, LLC's (BRL's) application for a technical revision (TR -102) on May <br />13, 2015. The application was determined to be complete on May 22, 2015. No comment letters have <br />been received for the proposed action. The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety has <br />completed its preliminary adequacy review of the proposed technical revision. Please respond to the <br />following comments or concerns as necessary: <br />Proposed page Exh-8-58xii, Ditch B38 identifies the peak discharge of the ditch design to be 0.42 <br />cfs. This discharge is in conflict with the discharge identified on proposed page EXH 8-29 (0.36 <br />cfs). In addition, proposed page Exh-8-74viii(g), proposed new ditch C26 identifies the peak <br />discharge of the ditch design to be 10.31 cfs. This discharge is in conflict with the discharge <br />identified on proposed page EXH 8-29i (9.88 cfs). Please revise any proposed pages to reflect <br />the appropriate peak flow rates for review. <br />If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.
