Activities were limited to
maintenance of slopes and erosion control measures. No major erosion was observed on or near the
area of operation. Permit boundary signs are intact and the overall condition of the site was
acceptable. Please find an attached the completed annual report, a site map and a check for an annual
fee of $791.00. Our prior designee is no longer with Skanska, so updated contact information has
been indicated on the Annual Report.
We offer the following as clarification to some of the answers on the Annual Report:
Per discussion with Russ Means, the prior request for Temporary Cessation was denied due to
concerns with the bond amount. The bond amount has been increased per Division inspection and
correspondence from Virginia Brannon; the bond issue has been addressed to the Division's
satisfaction. Pending negotiations with the land owner, we will either extend the lease and resubmit
our request for Temporary Cessation, or we will enter active reclamation and then terminate the
permit. The Division will be notified of our future plans for this pit once known.
To my knowledge, there is not an approved Weed Control Plan for this pit. However, we do inspect
the site for noxious weeds as part of our Stormwater Permit inspections. As of my inspection on June
3, 2015, there were no noxious weeds observed at this site. However, if noxious weeds were
discovered, Weedmaster herbicide (sample label attached), would be applied per manufacturer's
recommendations; with a follow-up inspection to verify elimination within a month.
If you have additional questions or require more information, please call me.
Sincerely,
Skanska USA Civil West RMD Inc.
I
4Jeife/rL.
