Downgradient shallow/deep well pair, MLGW-21 /MLGW-22, were drilled to depths of 97 and 32
feet, respectively, with the base of the (quaternary sediment aquifer identified at 80 feet in MLGkV-
21. Both monitor wells were constructed with 10 -feet of 0.04 inch slotted PVC screen. As -Built
drawings for the two monitor wells are included as Figures 3 and 4.
The installation of the Phase I extraction well meets the intent of the TR -23 submittal. The
effectiveness and performance of the system will continue to be monitored and evaluated using the
existing monitoring well network. These data can be used to adapt or modify the system in future
phases to maximize the capture of groundwater as was intended in the original design. Phase II will
follow Phase I and will likely consist of the installation of two more extraction wells in summer
2015. Phase III will be scoped following the installation and testing of the Phase 11 wells and may
include the installation and operation of additional extraction wells.
