2.0 PRECIPITATION
Precipitation data presented on Table P and Charts P1 and P2 is from the NOAH station in Uravan,
Colorado, 10.5 miles to the northwest of the mine. Precipitation for the 2013/2014 growing season (June
2013 through May 2014 was determined to be 130% of average when compared to the 9 -year average
(16.03 in. vs. 12.36 in.). Therefore, collected data are reflective of above average vegetative vigor and
production. Perusal of Chart P2 indicates that 2013 winter precipitation was markedly below average
with 1.28 inches — only 42% of the 9 -year average. Summer of 2013, autumn of 2013, and spring of
2014 were all above average with 4.88, 6.76, and 3.12 inches, respectively (152%, 183%, and 129% of
average, respectively).
