May 19, 2015 C-1981-013/Golden Eagle Mine LDS <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Vegetation at the site was green and relatively lush. The vegetation was very diverse, but the most <br />abundant grasses observed were blue grama, smooth brome and western wheatgrass. Forbs were more diverse still <br />and included Flax (which was flowering), Clover, Cicer milk vetch, Horehound, Fringed sage and many others <br />which were not identified. Noxious weeds did not appear to be a problem, although Redstem filaree was observed, <br />which is a C -list weed. <br />NECC are expecting to contract with Arcadis to conduct vegetation sampling in June. <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />OTHER (SPECIFY) <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Page 3 of 9 <br />
