Box 1488 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-1996-083 <br />Technical Revision No. 100 (TR -100) <br />Preliminary Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear, <br />The Division received Bowie Resources, LLC's (BRL's) application for a technical revision (TR -100) on <br />March 31, 2015. The application was determined to be incomplete on April 10, 2015. A revised <br />application was received on May 11, 2015 and the application was deemed to be complete on May 18, <br />2015. The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety has completed its preliminary adequacy <br />review of the proposed technical revision. Please respond to the following comments or concerns as <br />necessary: <br />Both the TR -100 cover letter and the TR -100 application form state that the proposed affected <br />area decreases to 7048 as a result of the revision and that this number represents a decrease of <br />102.5 affected acres. However, approved page 2.03-17 states that approximately 7,140 acres <br />will be affected during the life of the mine plan and the Division currently shows that the <br />approved affected area is 7,150 acres. Please address the discrepancy between the approved <br />affected area acres and the proposed affected area acres. <br />If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.
