According to C.R.S. 34-32.5-116 or 34-32-116, each year, on the anniversary date of the permit, an operator shall submit
the Annual Fee, an Annual Report and Map showing the extent of current disturbances to affected land, required
monitoring information, reclamation accomplished to date and during the preceding year, any new disturbance that is
anticipated to occur during the upcoming year, any reclamation that will be performed during the upcoming year, the
dates for the beginning of active operations, and the date active operations ceased for the year.
Information contained in this report will be reviewed by the Division upon receipt and prior to the next compliance
inspection of the site. If, while completing this report, you learn that your site is not in compliance with the rules and the
act, it is advisable that the issues be rectified promptly to avoid possible enforcement action.
SUMMARY NARRATIVE: The permit was revised by Technical Revision (2010) and Amendment (2011) that typifies
the remaining fill, site prep, reclamation, and warranty circumstances at play over the permitted lands. Approved
reservoirs have had their perimeter's graded, soiled and seeded in prior reporting years. Impacts from flooding in
2013have been mitigated. Principle activity in 2014 completed grading along the northeast portion of the location and
interseeding of resoiled areas. Completion of fill and grading to restore the ditch segment that intersects the parcel was
completed in 2013-14, further identified as Area 3b, as shown on the included map.
Weeds in 2012-13 were predominantly white top, an annual that is mechanically controlled along seeded slopes of
reservoir perimeters as needed, and which appears less prevalent after treatment, and sparse in 2014.
If grade is met for this area in 2015-16, the possibility remains to complete resoiling and commence the establishment of
vegetation surrounding Areas 3a & 3b. Primary future activity includes the continued processing and removal of
stockpiles, and filling to grade Area 3a. Reclamation is anticipated to near completion with the consolidation of
stockpiles within the designated storage area and completion of soiling and seeding of perimeter areas for the 2015-2016
year. This should limit future reclamation to the cost of interseeding areas where vegetation does not express itself within
a three year period from the date of planting and justify significant warranty reduction.
