Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />R - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste Y - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This complete inspection of Ohio Creek Mine outside Gunnison Colorado was conducted on Wednesday the 20th of <br />May 2015. Ground conditions were wet and muddy in places. The day was partly sunny and a cool 45? F. No snow <br />was present. <br />Robin Reilley accompanied by Dan Hernandez both of the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) <br />conducted the inspection. This is a revoked site; therefore no company/operator was present for the inspection. <br />This was a complete inspection with a focus on hydrology and revegetation progress. <br />This complete inspection of Ohio Creek Mine outside Gunnison Colorado was conducted on Wednesday the 20"' of <br />May 2015. Ground conditions were wet and muddy in places. The day was partly sunny and a cool 450 F. No snow <br />was present. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02: <br />Mine Identification signs and surface disturbance markers identified during this inspection were installed as required <br />throughout the areas visited on this inspection. The topsoil stockpile observed was stable, well vegetated and marked <br />with an identifying sign. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05: <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures <br />4.05.7; 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments <br />4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The observed sediment pond appeared to be functioning. Vegetation was beginning to emerge and no evidence of <br />instability or damage were noted on pond slopes. Due to the rainy spring the pond had some puddling on the bottom <br />but no significant water.
